About Chatel
Chatel is a genuine mountain village that's grown from its farming heritage into a charming, picture postcard ski and summer resort. The village is full of traditional alpine chalets and surrounded by pine trees, benefitting from being on the south facing slope at the top of the Abondance Valley, ensuring great views of the surrounding mountains and plenty of winter sunshine.
In Chatel you will find all amenities you will need to make your holiday hassle free including supermarkets, including a hypermarket on the edge of the village, and a number of bars and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes.
For those who still have the energy left after the days activities, the village also offers a bowling alley, cinemas, ice skating rink, a toboggan run (winter and summer) and an outdoor swimming pool (summer only).
